Bakers Spice Rub

Course: Condiment, spice rub

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp rock salt with chili flakes without flakes is fine
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp old bay seasoning omit if you do not have

Instructions

  • Toss all spices into a bowl and stir.
  • Store in ziplock and/or sealed type container when not using.
  • Should last 6-12 months.
  • Makes about 1 cup.
