Cream Cheese Frosting


  • 3 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 12 oz cream cheese room temperature (1 brick is 8oz, so you need 1 and a half bricks)
  • 1/2 cup butter room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • In a bowl sift icing sugar. In a larger bowl beat together your cream cheese, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Add your icing sugar in 1 cup increments beating well after each addition until all the icing sugar is used.
  • You are now ready to ice cupcakes, cakes or cookies, enjoy!
