Hailey's Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4-6 large lemons

Instructions

  • Give each lemon a roll/press to help release the juices. Half and juice them.
  • Combine water & sugar in saucepan bringing to a boil over high heat. Stir until sugar is disolved. This is a simple syrup.
  • Remove syrup from heat and stir in lemon juice. Set aside to cool. This is your lemonade syrup and it can be stored in the fridge (covered container) for up to one week.
  • To make Hailey's Lemonade: in a glass add as much ice as you like, 1/4 cup of the lemonade syrup and fill with water or club soda.
