Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 small -medium onion diced
  • 2 celery stalks sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp sweet green relish
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet and sour sauce
  • 2 tbsp hot red pepper jelly
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • salt pepper to taste
  • Toppings: sliced red onion, sweet thin pickles

Instructions

  • In frying pan brown your ground beef over medium high heat. Add in onion & celery, cooking until softened.
  • Add sweet green relish through water and turn heat to simmer.
  • Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes giving flavours a chance to blend.
  • Serve with fresh rolls or buns.
