Baked Ham with Pomegranate Molasses Glaze

Pomegranate Molasses Glaze
- 1/2 cup pomegranate molasses
- zest from one orange
- juice from one orange
- 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Remove ham from refrigerator and let stand on baking sheet with a rack. Using a sharp knife, score the fat on top in a diamond pattern.
Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix together your pomegranate glaze.
Pomegranate Molasses Glaze
In a bowl or cup mix together pomegranate molasses through salt.
Using a barbecue or pastry brush, cover the top of the ham with the glaze. Add water to the bottom of the pan and roast for 1.5 - 2 hours or until meat thermometer reads 160 F.
Baste with glaze occassionally while roasting. If top of ham is starting to darken too much, tent with foil.
Remove ham from oven and loosely cover with foil letting it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving with your favourite sides.
