Krispy Pumpkins

Ingredients

  • 22 large marshmallows
  • 3 cups rice krispie cereal
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • couple drops both red and yellow food colouring
  • green jelly beans

Instructions

  • Melt butter in pan over medium low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until they are completely melted.
  • Pour in your vanilla and food colouring, stirring until combined.
  • Remove from heat and add rice krispie cereal. Stir until combined.
  • Pour into a dish. If you try to form the pumpkins while still hot it won't work. You need to let the rice krispie mixture cool down a little.
  • Once cooled (not completely) start forming balls and place on platter. Once all your balls are formed, go back to first pumpkin ball and shape into a pumpkin. As they cool they become easier to work with. Add your green jelly bean stem.
  • Place in refrigerator to firm up for about 20 minutes and serve. Or transfer to a container to store until ready to serve.
