Date Energy Bites
Soft, naturally sweet and easy to make, these no-bake energy bites come together with dates, oats and a handful of pantry staples. They hold well in the fridge and make a practical grab-and-go option for mornings or mid-day snacks.

- 1 cup dates
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 cup oats, rolled or quick
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips, mini or regular sized
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp agave, maple syrup or honey
In a blender food processor or immersion blender, pour warm water over dates and let sit about five minutes. Puree dates with water until smooth.
With spatula, scrape into a bowl and with remaining ingredients.
Roll into balls and store in refrigerator.
