A delicious Cream Cheese Icing (frosting) that can be used to frost cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cakes carrot bread, or these delectable Carrot Cupcakes. It’s quick, easy, and is just sweet enough to compliment any baked goodness requiring icing, without overwhelming it.
- 3 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 12 oz cream cheese room temperature (1 brick is 8oz, so you need 1 and a half bricks)
- 1/2 cup butter room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- In a bowl sift icing sugar. In a larger bowl beat together your cream cheese, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Add your icing sugar in 1 cup increments beating well after each addition until all the icing sugar is used.
